| Make sure your policy has unlimited mileage |
When you have an expedite driving job, be sure to set the limits correctly. It is very important as an expediter driving the typical expedite lanes in the United States that you have a sufficient perimeter established. Some agents may offer a reduced rate but it could be in part because you have an insufficient perimeter. It is best to get unlimited mileage on your policy. Having an insufficient perimeter and having a collision outside of it can cause a claim to be denied. |

Expedited Owner Operators share the responsibility to assure the accuracy of your policy by providing detailed information on their co-drivers (when applicable). Be sure the names of the drivers of your expedited trucks or vans are listed specifically on your policy as approved drivers. This "acknowledgement" will ensure they are bound and covered. |
